The face of one of my cross wood girls inspired this playful vessel - perfect for a day when you feel like wearing a frown, but don't want to give yourself wrinkles.
Porcelain, wheel thrown cup with a pulled handle, dipped in blue slip (liquid clay) then freehand carved to reveal the clay beneath and fired in an electric kiln. Coated in a clear glossy glaze, and then fired again to 1250 degrees. Stamped with flower symbol at base of handle. Hand washing is recommended.
