ガオー ROAR bear cup
Sometimes you just feel like roaring - and if you don't like to do it out loud, let your cup do it for you - this bear is using the onomatopoeic Japanese word for the sound a bear makes, which sounds like GA-OW, and is written using the katakana letters - ガオー.
Porcelain, wheel thrown cup with a pulled handle, hand painted with cobalt oxide and fired in an electric kiln. Coated in a matt white glaze exterior and gloss glaze within, and then fired again to 1250 degrees. Stamped with bear head symbol at base of handle. Hand washing is recommended.
A handmade piece - please make sure you consult the pictures carefully and that you are happy with the piece before purchasing.
