the menu board - original
£135.00
I love the hanging menu boards used in some Japanese restaurants - made from paper, wood or plastic, they can be shuffled around, added and removed based on the day or seasons offerings. The whiteboard in this low-key restaurant offers specials of grilled barracuda and dried mackerel. Patrons can be seen reflected in a mirror to the right of the menu board, and there's a train calendar on the wall to the left.
My paintings are a mix of sketch, painting and illustration - a visual journal of my love for the city streets of Japan.
