Goldfish Vending Machine
A vending machine featuring an underwater swirl of goldfish, through swaying pond foliage.
Wherever I've lived I have tried to have a fish pond in my garden; and in the places where there wasn't a garden I had a goldfish bowl from time to time. In my current garden I have two ponds, and I love to spend time sitting watching the fish - both goldfish and ghost carp.
The goldfish we are familiar with now were said to have originated in the wild in southern China over 2000 years ago. They were highly prized by the wealthy after their introduction to Japan in 1502, but by the 1800's they were a popular pet for all and part of a summer time game called 'goldfish scooping' found at local summer festivals.
There are over 200 different types of goldfish today, with many fancy ones - this machine serves up a few flights of fancy wood girls with goldfish motifs.
The machine comes fully stocked with ten goldfish themed micro wood girls and two goldfish pieces.
Machine size: Approximately 30cm high/ 22cm wide/ 6cm deep.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a toy, and is for display purposes only. It should be kept out of the reach of children under the age of 8, as the small pieces could be swallowed. Should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from water.
US CUSTOMERS: Please be aware that new import fees (tariffs) will apply to all imported goods from 28th August 2025 - these fees are 10% of the declared value when manufactured in the UK (as for wood girls) but there are two different systems in place until February 2026, so please get in touch with me via the store contact form if you would like to know more.
