Melon Soda Vending Alley

Sold out

One of my favourite things to do in Tokyo is to go off wandering, walking down alleyways and finding all the different vending machines in the neighbourhood - they can be found in the darkest corners. Many will have contents based on the season - so hot drinks and soup in the winter and water and cold drinks for the summer.

This little wood girl went on a wander with her backpack and found an alley with a vending machine selling melon soda - a vibrant green very sweet fizzy drink and one of my summer favourites. In the alley along with the vending machine (which has a little yellow bird on top) is a sign for a taxi rank and a blue hose and bucket for filling the lotus bowl around the corner. Around the back of the alley there's a very cheeky bear tagging the wall with graffiti.

The box has a brass hanger on the back.

Wall box size: Approximately 23cm high/ 24cm wide/ 10cm deep.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a toy, and is for display purposes only. It should be kept out of the reach of children under the age of 8, as the small pieces could be swallowed. Should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from water.
