blue dragon in the nighttime
I am beginning to make moving wooden objects which I am calling 'twirlers' - inspired by my love of automata as a child.
Here is a blue dragon who undulates in flight above rolling painted clouds, with a cloud and stars spinning above him.
Constructed from turned wood, laser cut poplar ply and wire. The piece will come with the dragon parts and twirling cloud separate for safer transit - just pop each piece carefully into the holes on the base unit, as per the diagram sent with the piece.
SAFETY INFORMATION: NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 9.
IMPORTANT: Should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from water/ humid environments. As with all mechanical things, even the simplest ones, it is important to know that after a period of time they may dry out, seize up or become unstuck. A little candle wax on the base of each 'dragon body' stick every now and then may help keep the dragon flying for longer.
